This Military Diet Can Help You Lose 10 Pounds In 3 Days

Many people want to lose some weight, but not many succeeded because losing weight can be quite a challenging task. Everybody would have a benefit from losing body fat and gaining a bit muscle, not only that you will look better but also you will improve your overall health.

You can do wonders for your cholesterol and blood pressure by losing some body fat and lowering a few pounds of your body weight. But the downside of it is, being on a diet to lose fat can make you burn more calories and intake a lot less.

Losing weight is very simple, you should only eat less than usually. It is quite a simple moto: eat less, move more. That way your body will be using the fat it has accumulated to supply itself with energy.

But many people are not on very strict diets, so that is the main reason why they need a jump start. That is why we will show you the 3-day military diet, from which you will be able to lose around 10 pounds. This diet is made for women, that is why for men, they must add an extra 100 calories in protein form.

This diet many not be used by military members, but surely it is working very good. There aren’t any foods that are too fancy and that magically burn fat, but this diet is working its way through the reduced calorie intake.

One of the most important meals during the day is the breakfast meal, because this is the meal that starts you during the day and kick-starts your metabolism. For the first meal of the military day on the first day you can have a slice of toast (multigrain or whole wheat) with half a grapefruit and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.

Replace the peanut butter with almond butter if you are allergic to peanuts, also you can use pumpkin butter, hummus, sunflower seed and soy butter. Also you must know that every breakfast is 100% complete if you finish it with caffeinated tea or a cup of black coffee.

Make sure you drink your coffee without any sweeteners, milk, cream or sugar. Beverages that contain these ingredients are not allowed during this diet, but coffee and green tea are recommended because they have thermogenic properties, and the black coffee is suppressing your appetite as well.

For your lunch you can have another slice of toast without peanut butter, 1/2 cup of tuna and water, tea or black coffee. If you want to season your meal then go for honey, pepper, mustard, garlic salt, and any other seasoning that has almost no calories.

Then for the last meal of the day you can have any type of meat (3 ounces), 1/2 banana, 1 medium sized apple, a cup of green beans and a cup of vanilla ice cream. You may have noticed that there aren’t many types of food in the diet, because reducing the calorie intake is a difficult task and you must watch what you eat, in order to lose weight.

On the second day for breakfast you can have one egg, whole or multi grain wheat toast, and 1/2 banana. This diet lasts for only 3 days and then you take 4 days off. Then you repeat it until you achieve the desired results. But this doesn’t mean that during these days you can eat to sickness or live in a cheeseburger store. You should eat moderately and intake about 1,500 calories a day or even less.

For lunch you can have a hard boiled egg, 5 saltine crackers and a cup of cottage cheese (replace with cheddar cheese if you want to). During these days you should not work too hard or exercise a lot because you are consuming very low amounts of food. The only exercise that you will benefit from is a 30 minute walk every day.

The last meal of the day, the dinner. You can have 1/2 cup of carrots, 1/2 banana, tho hot dogs (without the buns), and 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream. You may have noticed already, but there is only vanilla ice cream in this diet, but that’s not very important you can replace it with a cup of apple juice, strawberry, banana or vanilla flavored almond milk.

The veggies that you consume in this diet should be raw, boiled, baked or steamed. The meat you are consuming should be baked or grilled, and if you are a vegetarian you can get the same amount of protein from beans, lentils, tofu or portobello mushrooms.

For the last day, for breakfast you can have a slice of cheddar cheese, an apple, and 5 saltine crackers. You can replace these saltine crackers with rice cakes, and the cheddar cheese with soy cheese, cabbage, eggs or ham. And of course finish the meal with caffeinated tea or black coffee.

The last lunch is a little bit small, so on the menu you have a hard boiled egg,  a slice of multi grain or wheat toast. You can replace the egg with a chicken wing, 2 slices of bacon or a cup of milk. You can see that from the first day to the last, the amount of food for the meals is constantly reducing, and there are less and less calories.

For the last meal of the diet, for this dinner you can have a cup of tuna, a cup of vanilla ice cream and 1/2  a banana. There are no snacks during this diet beside your meals. You need to consume only this in order to burn fat and lose some weight. You can switch the meals for example, have breakfast for dinner or else.

Alcohol is not allowed during this diet, even when you take the 4 days off you still should not drink alcohol because the effects will be no more, especially not fruity drinks and beer. And if you really like to drink, then you can have a single glass of wine.

Remember that losing fat and weight are very different things. And for you to lose 10 pound in only 3 days, doesn’t mean that you will lose 10 pounds of fat. With this diet you will be able to reduce the amount of intestinal mass and water weight from your body, some fat accumulation as well.
