And three years later, this very big hero has saved more than 40 cats and 1,300 dogs!

Young Roman is trying to help these animals which are in need, and also the ones that are enlisted for euthanasia in the animal shelters.

His mom recorded a video each time he played with a homeless cat or dog, and then posted every video on their own Facebook page, in order to help them get adopted.
