How To Cut Down All Your Excess Fat With The 8-Hour Diet Plan

Peter Moore and David Zinczenko wrote a book “Eight-hour Diet – Watch the pounds disappear without watching what you eat”, and in that book they explained every detail of this “Eight-hour diet” step by step. In this diet that was made by David, he is explaining how you can eat whatever you want but still lose some weight.

But this diet has a very important rule that you must follow, you are only allowed to eat in those 8 hours, and you cannot eat out of that time interval at all.

This diet is not new at all, there were many diets that recommended this method, where you eat in a limited time interval, but then you are not consuming anything at all for a longer period.

So, when you are on this diet you are allowed to eat everything you want in that interval of 8 hours, but for the rest of the day in those 16 hours you cannot consume any food, no fruits, no veggies, nothing. Therefore our body is concentrating more on recovery and rest, and it is not concentrated on digesting the food we consumed all the time.

We know that when we are on this diet we are allowed to eat only 8 hours a day, and that is one limited interval, but when is the best interval to eat and when is this diet the most effective? Many people who have tried this diet are recommending the period between 8 to 16, or 10 to 18, but in theory it is best to eat food between 9 and 17. No matter which period you choose, it is important to eat what you want, and supply your body with the normal amount of calories as you would usually do.

You can adjust that time interval according to your everyday schedule, and for example this time interval can be in a different period every day during the diet week. At first you should hold this diet for 3 days, and as the time goes by and the body gets used to it, you can gradually increase the diet to one week (full 7 day diet).

While you are on this diet, no food is forbidden, but don’t let this be an excuse to you to overdo things. The only downside to this diet is, that you can not drink sugary or sweet drinks, because the calories in these drinks are not the same (whether they are non-alcoholic or alcoholic), but this doesn’t mean that you can never ever consume a sugary drink in your life. You just need to know when it’s enough.

This diet has a very simple logic, you will lose the extra pounds you want to lose, but you will not need to look at how many calories you intake.

Here is how this diet is exactly working:

With this diet, you are giving your body the ability to digest the food in a period of 8 hours, and in the rest of the day your body is focused on accumulating and using the nutrients from the food you consumed, as well as eliminating the waste and toxins from your body as it should. The mitochondria is an energy source in every body cell, and it is stimulated through this diet. Therefore we are maximizing the energy production and decreasing the intracellular damage levels that are mostly caused by a poor nutrition. With this you are reducing the risk of diabetes, heart diseases, Alzheimer’s, cancer and also slowing down the aging process.

The authors of the book and the diet, said that in this modern society where almost everybody sits in front of a desk at least for 8 or 9 hours a day, whether it is at work or at home, we are not giving our body the needed time to burn the calories we intake. So through this diet we are giving our body a 16 hour time interval to burn all the calories we supplied it with, from the past 8 hours.

One Day (example) Menu:

Early Morning: Tea, coffee or water.

Breakfast (10 a.m): Toast, scrambled eggs, fruit, glass of milk, muesli, tea/coffee.

Snack (whenever you want): A piece of cake from expanded cereals (buns for example).

Lunch (whenever you want): An apple, french fries, homemade chips, 2 pizzas.

Snack (whenever you want): A fruit, an ice cream, a piece of cake.

Dinner (6 p.m): Steamed broccoli, 2 boiled potatoes dressed in buttermilk, white chicken meat, ice cream.

With this freedom, everybody that wants to lose weight will be more than happy, because there are almost no restrictions, and you can feel free to eat anything. But the hardship is in those 16 hours.

Also you can exercise while you are on this diet plan, but make sure it is not too hard, and make sure your body is already used to this diet.
